A day in the life of Islanders

Waking up to another stormy day we decided to head to the National Parks Anne of Green Gables site. The area consists of the house that Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote about in her famous book.

After a walk around the grounds and the house we decided it was time for lunch. And since we were on the island we had to try the lobster. I recommend when visiting the eastern provinces to partake in some local seafood.

A wonderfully yummy meal now filled our tummies and adventure still waited us. Driving the north shore of the the coast we stopped in North Rustico for a quick walk around, then on to the Dunes. With weather still not being cooperative we continued on to Cove Head. This site has the quaint little fisherman town feel and my favourite photograph of a lighthouse.
