Time spent in the Garden

Spent some time in the garden today as all sorts of vegetation start their growth cycle. I'm looking forward to try some of things once they ripen. We have a couple of bartlet pear trees in the yard. Every year I watch then start out very small and grow into juicy large pears.

Beets are always planted each year. We're big fans of the pickled type but this year we may have to grill some on the BBQ for a tasty side dish.

We don't just have vegies and fruit in our yard, we also have lots and lots of flowers.

We have quite a few rose bushes as well. I decided to try something a little different this time around by converting my image to Black & White.
