An Autumn Day at the Farm

A late September day on the farm, drizzling rain, not the best day for photography. I was here to take pictures of my sister-in-law's beautiful horse. A bonus was that the owner of the farm was an old friend from university. First stop was the paddock where Bart (the horse to be photographed) was hanging out with his new gal pal Moreagan ( a very jealous and possessive horse). Moreagan had decided that she just had to be in the pictures even if it was only her nose. With lots of pushing and shoving we were able to get a picture of Bart and my sister-in-law.

Bart was then suited up for a quick ride around the rink before the rain came back in. It took a few tries to get this shot but well worth the trip out.

Next shot will be on a sunny day and less cold wet rain.
