July 4th

I spent some time in the garden this morning. One of the storms that we had recently had broken a rose branch and the remains were left by the edge of the garden.

I decided to finally get a picture of the butterfly orchid that my mom has in the house.

We were planning on heading to Forks of the Credit for a sunrise shoot the following morning and since I had not been there yet I decided to scout out my spot for the shoot. So headed out later that afternoon to the forks. There was some amazing clouds that afternoon.

I finally decided that I would shoot from the bottom of the valley by the lake. I hoped for some mist. We will see what tomorrow brings.
